MathTrack Institute

We are excited to announce our investment in MathTrack. MathTrack is empowering the next generation of teachers through its apprenticeship programs. Their apprenticeship-based degree and licensure pathways combine personalized, competency-based learning with the narrative art of teaching — helping educators connect computation to meaning and meaning to human experience. Through partnerships with universities, employers, and states, they are redefining how teachers are trained and licensed across the nation.

MathTrack’s work has never been more relevant. With a projected teacher shortfall of 200,000 in 2026, teacher shortages are having an outsized impact on public education.

MathTrack was founded by Andrew Salmon and Kevin Berkopes. Kevin is a mathematics educator and entrepreneur. He co-founded MathTrack to solve the problems he witnessed firsthand. Andrew has deep experience managing commercial and industrial development projects.
